Data from the Office of National Statistics has revealed that house prices in Hythe and Folkestone rose by 12.9% in the past year.

Local agent Kris Foster at Motis Estates said, “There’s certainly a trend for people exploring a move to the seaside or the countryside, and places in commutable distance to London remain popular. Working habits have changed, meaning that people don’t have to go into the workplace every day but they can get there when they need to.”
