Hythe is a charming coastal market town, just minutes from Otterpool Park.
There’s plenty to explore from the independent shops, cafes and restaurants that line its historic high street, to adventurous activities including sailing, kayaking or windsurfing. Its Victorian beachfront promenade makes the perfect seaside walk or bike ride.

Behind Hythe is the Royal Military Canal. Stretching for 28 miles it’s the perfect place to paddleboard, kayak or canoe, or simply walk or cycle alongside.
Hythe is also one of the stops on the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, a quintessentially British trip on the world’s smallest railway which draws over 150,000 visitors a year.
