The Big Draw Festival: Perceptions of Place

Thursday 6 October, 10am – 2pm

Castle Park, Westenhanger Castle (meet at Westenhanger Castle car park)

Book your ticket here.

Perceptions of Place is a free event as part of The Big Draw Festival 2022.

Castle Park will be created at Otterpool Park to provide opportunities for leisure and recreation such as football, cricket, walking, and cycling and for children to play while providing views back towards Westenhanger Castle with the North Downs sitting behind and over towards the lake where the town centre will be created.  It will protect important architectural features on the proposed garden town site, such as the ancient causeway to the Castle and a Roman Villa.

You are invited to come and take inspiration from this landscape that has changed over time, capturing the past, and present or imagining its future guided by an artist to be confirmed.

Materials will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own art materials and create your own independent masterpiece.  Suitable for all levels of experience.
