Free events for National Storytelling Week

Westenhanger Castle will be the venue for a series of free events to mark National Storytelling Week this February.

The events have been organised by Otterpool Park, working with professional storyteller Emily Hanna-Grazebrook of Dragonfly Tales. Emily has performed in museums, schools, literary festivals and community events for nearly 10 years.

Storytelling for Grown Ups – Friday 4 February 2022

7.30 – 9.30pm

Come along to a free performance of Words in the Water, an evening of twisted folktales and sumptuous songs from the rivers, lakes and seas.

Storytelling for Families – Saturday 5 February 2022

Join us for free, fun storytelling and craft workshops for all the family.

10.30 – 11.45am – The Rainbow Crow

Tickets are free but must be pre-booked using the links above.

All events will take place at Westenhanger Castle, Stone Street, Westenhanger, Kent CT21 4HX. There is ample free parking, but you may wish to bring a torch to use in the car park for the evening event. Drinks will be available to purchase, and toilet facilities will be available.
