Folkestone named among UK’s top up and coming seaside towns

A recent article by The Independent newspaper declared Folkestone as second in a list of up-and-coming UK seaside towns.

Reporting on the research from Best Western, the hotel chain, the write-up also declared Folkestone as the fifth most popular seaside town.

“Other beachside destinations that have surged in popularity include Folkestone, which has seen a booking growth of more than 50 per cent.”

This national recognition reflects the hard work that has been completed to regenerate Folkestone and the wider district.
