Free events for National Storytelling Week

Westenhanger Castle will be the venue for a series of free events to mark National Storytelling Week this February.

The events have been organised by Otterpool Park working with professional storyteller Emily Hanna-Grazebrook of Dragonfly Tales. Emily has performed in museums, schools, literary festivals and community events for nearly 10 years.

Storytelling for Grown Ups – Friday 4 February 2022

7.30 – 9.30pm

Come along to a free performance of Words in the Water, an evening of twisted folktales and sumptuous songs from the rivers, lakes and seas.

Storytelling for Families – Saturday 5 February 2022

Join us for free, fun storytelling and craft workshops for all the family.

All events will take place at Westenhanger Castle, Stone Street, Westenhanger, Kent CT21 4HX. There is ample free parking but you may wish to bring a torch to use in the car park for the evening event. Drinks will be available to purchase and toilet facilities are available.
